Sexual Assault -- Whistling and Pulling Hand of Minor -- Amounts to harassment, not sexual assault
Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, S.8 -- Sexual Assault -- Whistling and Pulling Hand of Minor -- Whistling at a minor and pulling her hand by force when she does not respond cannot straightaway be termed an act with sexual intent. Such conduct at most amounts to harassment falling under Section 11 of the Act and does not constitute sexual assault.
