Maintenance to Child -- Employment of Mother -- Not a ground to reduce liability of father
Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, S.125 -- Maintenance to Child -- Employment of Mother -- Does not by itself reduce the liability of the father to maintain minor children, as the obligation shared by both parents cannot be divided by arithmetic alone. Care and upbringing provided by the parent with custody constitutes a real contribution, often the greater one, and cannot be measured only in money. Where the income of the father supports the amount awarded and the assessment by the Family Court is not found to be perverse or excessive, interference in revision is unwarranted.
